Merry Christmas and a happy new year

Hello all

As you may have noticed, the new year is about to tick by, and so this is our last chance to sneak in a post before the end of 2007. About this time last year we were probably stuck in a traffic jam in the Mojave desert on the way to Vegas. And right now I am stuck inside in Intis family's home on a fairly rainy New Years Eve.

It has been a brilliant year. The first full Jan - Dec of being married. Climate change. Our first home (flat) in NZ. Our first sibling wedding. Global warming. An anniversary night spent apart. Jono turned 25. Inti turned 22. Family 'reunion'. Many engagements (Steve and Alexis - congratulations, not to mention any number of Inti's cousins.. we can't really keep up). World cup failure. Californian roadtrips. Vegetable garden. Touch rugby. The list goes on and gets more and more comprehensive with each comma...

Currently Inti and I are on holiday up in Hawkes Bay. We spent a wonderful few days with Richie and Rebecca and rest of family in Waikanae. And now we came up here for a wedding to attend, and celebrations to ring in the New Year, if that turns out to be anything worth noting. Original plans were for a sober night on the beach (Police are hinting at arrests for public drinking at some trouble spots apparantly), but with the rain and all, it may well be a quiet one.

So I leave you with some photos of our little family get-together.

A happy New Year to everyone both near and far.

Oma and Opa and Uncle John came up for Christmas day.

Not sure I remember you sorry. As it is, I work from home and type some stuff and make good money right now. And since I am quite risk-averse, I think I will stick with what I am doing for now. Thanks anyway

Just when I had given up hope that you would stay faithful to your blog, you go and post 3 months behind my back! Now I have a novel's worth of reading to catch up. Oh, and thanks. =)
